Workshop Facilitators

Spend an hour or so each week helping in our evening youth workshops!

Each of these volunteer opportunities is once a week for 4 weeks. We ask that if you sign up for one of these opportunities, you do your best to come each week.

Get in the Game (Ages 9-12)

Tuesdays
Feb 12 – Mar 5
5:00 – 6:30 PM

Spend an hour and a half every Tuesday for 4 weeks helping these young gamers design themselves into a video game!

Duties include: helping students with activities, securing student focus and attention, and ensuring student safety throughout the workshop.

Roboteers (Ages 9-12)

Wednesdays
Feb 13 – Mar 6
5:00 – 6:30 PM

Spend an hour and half every Wednesday for 4 weeks helping these computer wizards to conquer robots!

Duties include: helping students with activities, securing student focus and attention, and ensuring student safety throughout the workshop.

Raspberry Pi for Kids (Ages 9-12)

6:45 – 8:15 PM

Spend an hour and a half every Thursday for 4 weeks helping these young coders discover what they can do with coding knowledge!

Duties include: helping students with activities, securing student focus and attention, and ensuring student safety throughout the workshop.

STEAM 101 (Ages 6-8)

5:00 – 6:00 PM

Spend an hour and a half every Thursday for 4 weeks helping these young makers learn the basics of STEAM learning!
