This STEAM Community Studio project was brought to us by Fanshawe College student and St Thomas resident, Atrus Fisher who came to us with the idea of activating the local Landmarks to inspire people to learn the history and interesting stories with the goal of preserving them for future community members.  Western University Scholar's Electives students Natalie Pallisco, Colette Banko, Irina Petrovic and Jiya Hai partnered with the STEAM team to create a landmarks walking tour that would be designed as a printable and digital option for greater public access and includes activities for youth engagement  Thank you to industry project partners who helped provide access to local history, images and overall support.  These partners include Gina Dewaele, Assistant Archivist from Elgin County Archives, Megan Pickersgill Tourism Manager at St Thomas Development Economic Corporation, Andrew Gunn representing the Estate of Donna Bushell and Young&Free Press.
