SHSM Certification Workshops

Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) certifications let high school students focus on a career path that matches their skills and interests while meeting the requirements of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). The STEAM Centre education team has extensive experience creating authentic, interesting and engaging SHSM certification workshops for students, bringing together real-world experiential learning opportunities and hands-on activities to inspire students' focus.

Teachers, at this time, student groups can experience STEAM Centre SHSM certificate programs virtually or in person with all materials provided. Certificates are also provided upon completion of the workshop and, depending on the needs of the group, we can include a combination of certifications in a single training day. These trainings can also have sector specific themes as needed.
