Today you were a part of making a stop motion movie.  While we wait for it to be created and published feel free to look at another one made at a recent Science Rendezvous event!

Now that you are here follow along to make your own flip book animation or build some characters for your own Stop Motion Movie! Feel free to add objects such toys, playdoh, recycled items etc to enhance your movie's storytelling. Follow along with our STEAM instructors in the videos below.

Lights, Camera, Action! Time to make your own Stop Motion animation
At the Science Rendezvous we made a stop motion movie where everyone was able to add something to it.  Keep checking back to see what the final result was.  In the meantime you could download amazing stop motion apps and use items like foam clay, pipe cleaners and googly eyes, recycled items, blocks.. really anything around the house to design a couple of characters that will be the stars of your show.  Follow Irene as she shows you step by step how to go from character creation to movie making.  Share your creations with us @steameducentres!
