Choose from three amazing virtual coding workshops! Students will learn to code both online and offline in this workshop, engage with robots and develop their Scratch coding skills. Whether an adept coder or a first-timer, this workshop has something for all students!

Gr. 1-3, 4-6, & 7-8 versions available. $6 per student.

Intro to Coding

Grade 1-8 - Primary and junior level students learn all the basics of block coding in this workshop. Programmers use coding instruction “blocks” to construct animated stories and games. It's an entry-level activity, where students can gain a foundation in computational thinking through visuals. Mastered block based coding? Ask us about adapting for senior level student with a workshop focused on written code.

A-Mazing Ozobots

Grade 1-8 - Already know how to code? Have Ozobots in your classroom or at your school board? Let’s show you some fun ways to use coding skills to create your own colour coded mazes for the ozobot to travel through. (Hardware not included)

Fun with Microbits

Grade 1-8 - The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces how software and hardware work together. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors and many input/output features that, when programmed, let it interact with you and your world. In this workshop you will learn how computers work and get to design your own program to see how to make the microbit react. This workshop is perfect for classrooms that have microbits on hand. (Hardware not included)
